DESCRIPTION:Exclusive Preview: Croydon Composers 2018. Croydon Composers is a pioneering music project bringing together Croydon’s aspiring composers to create cross-genre\, cross-community collaborations.  Now in it’s second year\, the musicians on Croydon Composers 2018 are busy creating some exciting new music. For this special one off showcase at the Oval Tavern\, Croydon\, we are bringing a few of the Croydon Composers 2018 musicians led by musical director and legendary producer Shri Sriram. They will perform tracks from 2017 and some new collaborative improvisations which will present a flavour of what’s to come later on this year.  So\, come by for an evening of dynamic\, elegant\, punchy and cool collaborative music spanning jazz\, grime\, electro\, Indian classical\, spoken word and more. Oh! and Oval Tavern has some great ales too!  \n
