JG and the Ultimates JG & the Ultimates are a Rockin’ Rhythm & Blues band formed and fronted by guitarist Jay Gipson. He has been playing guitar & performing for 30 years, playing live at Viva Las Vegas, Atomic Festival, Twinwood, and the Secret Garden Party. His musical style is immersed in the retro sounds of the 50’s & 60’s but with a strong leaning towards the bluesy side of rock & roll, jump blues & R&B
